The Lucent litigation may be limited to Tantivy IPR, but I'm guessing that IDCC would not agree to a settlement unless it included a "convenience" license covering ALL of their IPR in the CDMA2000 standard, i.e., the IPR in BOTH the Tantivy AND the IDCC portfolios.
Actually, this observer is hoping that IDCC is determined to hold firm on getting a "convenience" license on ALL of the 3G standards before they agree to any settlement terms with Lucent.
