and us cat lovers too! I lost my beloved pennyrose june 4 after 17 years of being my best friend in the world, yesterday I finally brought home a new friend whom is trying to get along with the other cats, it will take time, but well worth it. Animals r such a comfort to us humans............

Thanks Joe, and thanks to all the dog-lovers here who have offered words of comfort, and stories and memories of your own much-loved dogs who have passed over. I still find it hard to understand why God created the dog to be such a wonderful companion to Man, then limited his lifespan to but a fifth of our own.
