I am glad to see that you are comfortable in taking the risk --"These little countries might be able to lob one at us but they can't destroy us and they would never see day 2 of the war they started."
But your next sentence speaks to my view--"Once you open Pandora's box there ain't no do overs."
What do you suggest the U.S. do about Iran's desire to accumulate nuclear weapons, given she gets help from Russia she can't really be considered a "little country". How many countries now have nuclear weapons?...Does the U.S. have the right to tell any country they can't?
the U.S.S.R. had 10,000+ nuclear warheads pointed at us with delivery vehicles capable of hitting the U.S. continent....Enough said...There is no verifiable threat from Iran...The last country the Persians invaded was India before we were even a country...With the logic these politicians use, we need to bomb every country we do not like because they might get Nuclear Weapons...Pre-emptive war is a false doctrine to enrich the few, and keep the many scared...We send the poor and young in this country to other countries to kill their poor and young...And destroy their infrastructure so our companies can get paid to rebuild it...
