I've lived under the threat of a nuclear hell for 63 years, it doesn't scare me much anymore. These little countries might be able to lob one at us but they can't destroy us and they would never see day 2 of the war they started. Once you open Pandora's box there ain't no do overs. The world has largely forgotten what happened in Japan maybe a remedial education is needed somewhere and we do not have to be the perpetrator.
