Although patent D571,792 is still shown as assigned to Aerius International, Inc. ("INC"), presumably it was sold to Aerius International, Ltd. ("LTD") in the November 24, 2009 transaction and they just haven't submitted a reassignment.

Because it's a design patent that protects only the ornamental appearance of the antenna, it has virtually no value. It just means that no other company can make a cell-phone antenna that looks like the drawings.

CLAIM The ornamental design for an antenna for mobile telephones or the like, as shown and described.

The patent number for design patents start with a "D" whereas utility patents on inventions are all numbers.

The patent awarded to Johnson on 6/12/2012 has not yet been assigned to a company, but I believe it will be assigned to LTD of which I presume Johnson is part owner.

If Bill Luxon issues PRs about patents owned by his private company, he needs to make it clear that the only financial interest shareholders of AERS have is the value of the 10 million shares the public company owns in the private company. It's not even known what percentage of LTD, INC owns as Luxon didn't give the total number of shares of LTD. Owning shares in a private company is worthless unless the company is sold.

The press release indicated that all of the intellectual property was sold including patents and patents pending.

Aerius International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AERS) a Nevada Corporation today announced sale of its patents and patents pending cell phone antenna technology, and trademarks related to said antenna technology in return for ten million shares of common stock in a Delaware Corporation owned by the majority owners of AERS.

Additionally, the PR incorectly states Aerius LTD is a DE corporation. The company may have a DE address, but "LTD" signifies a foreign entity.

LOL. When was the last time you saw a pull-out whip antenna? Funny that a patent just granted actually references that as a design option. This could be really exciting. Would they market that as a "retro phone"? Maybe they could include one of those attached briefcases too. Rock it old school.
