Thanks for the reply. I presume what you are saying is that irrespective of how things sort themselves out in Iraq (bar an act of terrorism), ultimately you have to play the plan?

I think you are too late - the UN has already rendered itself irrelevant. How else can one explain the fact that Iraq is this year's head of UN Disarmament Commission and Lybia is the head of Human Rights? In general, the UN opposes most things that we stand for as a free and open democratic society based on capitalism - all of which are an anathema to the UN membership as a whole.

I, for one, favor the US getting out of the UN and sending it to open up its headquarters in Syria or Uganda, or wherever it feels more at home. Our money should not be used to fund those that hate us and want to see us destroyed.
