sjratty...I maintain that in regards to Nokia "Award" all it took was for Nokia to contest the award and it immediately put doubt in the streets mind that we would get paid, fully or partially...A willing participant signing a deal, Kyocera, hopefully will send a different signal
No respect this morning from First Albany, who amazingly reiterated a "neutral" rating, based upon uncertainty surrounding how the first $20 mil will be accounted for, and valuation. Hopefully, and likely, the "market" will provide all the necessary respect.
No one outside this board, IDCC or IDCC's BOD is paying any attention to the stock. Yet another reason why they should use all that cash on the balance sheet and, if necessary, debt proceeds to do a massive stock buyback. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the company announce a tender offer (I would suggest 22.5 a share) for 5-10 million shares, once the NOK money is in hand.
