I wonder will he say the same when the 250M is booked. IDCC is reiterated neutral although IDCC has booked the 250M I am not sure how it is going to be accounted for. He seems a little short sighted on the implications of the license IMHO, but what do I know I am no smooth well groomed analyst.
They are correct. Uncertainty exists because of the "subject to certain conditions" clause in the contract. Could this be another Panasonic, where the profits remain in a deferred revenue account for years. i suspect that the answer is no, however it is time for fagan to earn the massive remuneration package and provide clear accounting guidance, after all he has know about the contract for a very long time.
