BTP

With Eastern Cedar Log siding on my house, I wasn't going to throw just anything up there to seal it.
I did quite a bit of investigating of different brands, colors etc. etc.

I finally decided on the Wolman F&P and was not disappointed at all. I chose the 'natural' flavor because I wanted to keep the siding as light as I could for as long as I could.

This year will be the 3rd year since the initial coating.

Granted.....everyone has their 'druthers' and opinions but this is my choice.

Not the cheapest and not outrageous at the same time.

Again, of course, anything you put on wood to seal it will darken it a little.

I tried 3 or 4 types of the pump up sprayers to no avail (stuff drips to quickly and doesn't get a chance to soak)
Brush works the best...IMO

Oh! Ask me! ask me! I know! I know!

(Raises hand and jumps up and down)

On "the deck that Rambus built"

The privacy fence shows wood that is five years old. It looks the same as the day we put it up. Every year - because I actually enjoy doing it - we use the same product (not on the floor - thats a composite) on all the redwood.

You had the right stuff - but the wrong choice: We use the cedar on the left but they have a redwood as well (on the right).

Not milky - looks more like paint but sucks right into the wood and disappears.

AWESOME STUFF! LUV IT!
