I agree with MRK that scheduling isn’t a major differentiator. Although scheduling might affect the initial sales uptake a little, insomnia drugs ultimately sell based on how well they work. For instance, no amount of marketing by Wyeth (and, later, by two other companies) was able to make Sonata a commercial success because the efficacy just wasn’t there.
