"But lets get this straight...any thought that the resultant legal process of SPNG (or any other financial fraud of it's type) is done for profit is absurd and insulting."

Atta boy!

Wait a minute........who said that profit was or is the motive for the pursuit of financial fraud in the courts? You appear to have rejected a theory of your own creation.

LOL... thanks for the laugh. Guess that's why GS works so hard to cover up their naked shorting abuse, because it's NOT a profitable "criminal" practice. The scam is those that try to convince everyone else of their dillusion, like the SEC saying that "naked shorting doesn't exist." Then they had to pull their foot out of their mouth and restate, "well.. it exists, but it's not that big of a problem." Yep.. tell that to GS who will be the first of the abusers to pay by a small time business (overstock.com) that they tried to destroy. Guess they picked on the wrong CEO.

I always like reading the part where 99% of the sales were false, but no one talks about in which timeframe and how many customers they are referring to. 5 customers, 4 that were made up and out of the country. In the meantime, no one talks about the 45,000 retail customers and the 10 million that was made thereafter. Take out management, let the business survive because there was a business, there was many products, and there was no reason to destroy a good company. Bad management, good company. AIG biggest ponzi scheme, company is still there. GS biggest fraudsters telling customers to buy POS products and betting they would go nowhere, their still thriving. Citibank keeps getting their hands slapped for the same fraud practices, their still there.

Guess one becomes "selective" to the type of fraud they CAN live with. The kind that makes others they work for money and pays their bills at the end of the day IMO.
