What's so strange about people, even high ranking bureaucrats, going to bed at night?

Not a thing. I do believe that the people who work under them should be awake and keeping abreast of the situation and that these same people should wake the high ranking bureaucrats up with up to date information and not have the high ranking bureaucrats be updated by a newspaper that was probably printed while he was sleeping.

geez, when I worked for the phone company as a programmer... if something went wrong with the batch processing in the middle of the night, I was expected to get to work and stay at work until it was fixed... round the clock if necessary... and that was just a stupid telephone bill being produced. So I expect when there are peoples lives on the line, that the blankety blank idiots in charge work 24/7 until it's under control!!!
