Thanks Lazy, I share some of your viewpoints. At this point it's seems clear that the management at Bourque can use any help in exposing the product that they can get. Even from peasants like me.
Great product potential , rather lousy , at least initial execution , at least from the standpoint of a shareholder. As I was told by one much older, wiser and less emotional professional investor, history is littered with tens of thousands of the carcasses of great product startup companies who simply couldn't execute. Way harder to sell a product on a largescale than to dream up game changing life altering products.
Running new businesses are exhaustive, mine field laden affairs, much easier to make fatal mistakes during startup than at any other time.I think Bourque has made their fair share already, and many can't be explained away with enthusiasm for the product/technology. They're 2 different things. So your criticism of Bourque's team is deserved in many ways.
I'm hopeful the Bourque folks have enough money and sense to find a genuinely talented executive team to take this seemingly game changing technology forward. I'd much rather see JB in the back laboratory dreaming up new applications for Kryron, with a seasoned CEO running the front end. Had they gone with an initial IPO instead of the GPGI merger , and mustered funds to hire proven talent maybe they couldve done that , but it wouldve been slower also.
So I'll do whatever 1 person/ shareholder can do to help. I'm being careful what I wish for, because I'm somewhat afraid of what happens if they do get a significant order. Can they produce? Do they have funds to buy millions of dollars in raw materials to manufacture? Is the quality system in place? Like I said, lots of minefields for Kryron to repel.
I doubt my efforts will go far, most of those type letters are never responded to.
I do appreciate your contrarian take on this. It balances the Board , tempers alot of the unbridled, factless assumptions that come from unrealistic and realistic expectations ( i. e. does anyone really think Obama's 1 sentence blurb was actually specifically about Bourque? I'm optimistic, but thats a BIG leap. Cool if it's true, but likely factually un-proveable )
As for Levin, he's my Michigan representative , no more, no less, so that's who I contacted.
