People who believed that these acquisitions were going to occur any other way, are fooling themselves. What was he going to do, buy the brokerage himself and basically hand it over to you and I? That's not how it works.
Or was he supposed to walk into the brokerages front door and say, "Hey I like this, will you give it to me". That is absurd.
People who are up in arms over this need to understand a little about how this would go down. Nothing is going to be given to us. That's crazy, we are not a charity that some business owner will feel sorry for, and say "oh I feel so sorry for you here is my brokerage business, take it, it's yours"
People are hammering me, cause they just want to complain how wrong this is, and how betrayed they feel and not looking at how this was actually supposed to happen.
I understand why people are upset, I don't like being down money either when traders sell and keep dropping the price of the stock. It happens, but nobody insulted anyone's mother.
If someone wants to believe that Mr Dwyer is running a scam, fine there is nothing that can change their mind. I just want to know if they wanted these acquisitions to occur so badly, and everyone here was loving this just 1 week ago, what did they expect him to use to facilitate these acquisitions?
