Yes, the Golden Chariot shaft is probably going to be the "escape" shaft as well as providing a way for the Sinker Tunnel to "breathe".

The Golden Chariot will not only provide an escape tunnel but it will allow mining of WEM year round via the sinker tunnel. At 38K per foot, the sinker tunnel is proving to be quite the catch for sfmi. And the good news is that we can drill the sinker without being connected to the golden chariot.
