Hey Quinn! Great post! Yes indeed Ms. Schoen brings a lot of experience in regards to the mortgage and real estate arenas...I also found it very interesting that she has been a serious advocate for job creation in the Washington County (Florida) area.
She has a strong presence in the county and also Chipley, Florida. This has been the concentration of where New Unified Corp talks about not only the real estate investments in this area but also where they intend to start the hydroagra/ aquaponics sector of the business.
Specifically, Emax & New Unified have the intentions of training local farmers, residents, etc in hydroponic growing systems at the Washington Holmes Technical Training Center.

I would say that Karen Schoen's background and experience are deeply intertwined with the business plans of NUC and I'm sure she is working closely with Rox to execute the business goals.

She is a teacher (retired) and "lives in North Florida" which means not in Orlando where the EMXC offices are. I would bet she is not a full time employee, does not perform any substantial amount of work for EMXC, and does not receive a regular salary from EMXC commensurate with what you would expect for a "VP of Business Development".
