TRCPA - I fully understand the amount of time needed with auditors in order to produce the reports. Where I disagree though is with the timing. It won't take any less time regardless of when it gets started. Getting started sooner would seem to be the cure for late reporting.
Now, if the report is late because Brian is too busy counting the company's money all will be forgiven! :)
TR - And when a new CFO is announced, I think we can expect a nice spike in FASC--if it is still below .03. I think we are not giving Brian enough credit. To manage all these irons in the fire we have uncovered as a one man show is quite amazing in my book. Only one thing I think that stands out and may be overlooked. That is Net-Man's comment:
"It's like being in a hot steamy car with your high school sweetheart wanting to take it up a notch and being told ya' gotta' wait!"
My training in earlier days was marriage and family counseling. For a very nominal fee I think I can advise you on how better to handle the type of problem you describe. As we used to say in Educational Leadership training: "Leadership is moving an individual or group toward mutually satisfying conclusions". Hours by appointment. Waitedg
