Beer, well of course I would expect that response from you...lol...my point is this, Has anyone who is concerned about the Andrew situation spoken with him? Per my post yesterday, I emailed Ian Kayser at Design 1st yesterday and asked him to confirm whether or not he is working on a project for WDRP.
Within 5 minutes two things happened: First I got a reply from Design 1st stating that "Yes, they are currently engaged in a project with Robert and WRDP" Secondly, Andrew called me. (I sent the email from my business email that has a default signature with my phone number.)
I was surprised to hear from him personally. Obviously, a lot of what he spoke about I cannot post due to his current situation. However, I personally feel a million times better about the whole situation.
He spoke freely and frankly about what happened, how it happened and when it happened.
By no stretch am I an idiot, I obviously was skeptical about anything he was going to say and expected him to proclaim his innocence.
When it was all said and done however, he absolved himself in my opinion. Again, he spoke VERY freely. He spoke of Amyot, Cortellazi and Somervail, about their relationships and how he was associated with them. To say the least, the hour that I spoke with him was very enlightening. I encourage any of you do the same....call him and then make up your mind for yourself...you may be surprised.
It is easy to sit here, listen to random bits of loose association and persecute the guy and the company. However, without seeing a body of evidence conclusively showing his guilt, I am unwilling to crucify him.
I am convinced however of the following: Again, all is IMO only!
1. Design 1st is involved
2. There is a prototype
3. It is at UL
4. It will be here mid september at the latest
I am now and have always been long n strong. Go WDRP!
