How true Tony. My house is just a few miles outside of Fort Wayne, and when it was built 15 years ago, they were just then running retail gas lines. Prior to then, if someone wanted gas they had to pay more for the gas line (tapped off of the commercial line across the road) than they paid for their house. Most of the homes within a 4 mile radius of mine are still all electric. And if you look at the area between Fort Wayne and Decatur, there are more electric water heaters than there are gas ones inside Fort Wayne city limits.
