Mr. Lostcowboy; thanks for the link. Let me tell you what my search has taken me to. First I needed a charting tool, not a stock graph. We all are looking at stock graphs every day. Are we missing something if we all keep looking at the same graph. So I want to be able to creat my own graph over a period of time with different varieables, different markets, time periods. For example; Comparing the NASDAQ bust to the Dow 30 bust that started in 1929. In Nov 02. 145 weeks after devastating bust NASDAQ is down about 73%, the Dow 30 (1929)was down 88% in week 145. At the same time when you look at P/E of Dow 30 in 1929 at its TOP it was 32.6,and at its bottom it reached 5.6; P/E of Nasdaq even after 145 weeks was 41. Dose that mean NASDAQ still has way to go down? If these are placed in a graph it may make more sense.
There is a graphing software available for public use, was developed by CDC for epidimialogists which may be able to do the work if one takes time to study its use. I have not used it I found the site last night, but its promissing
