Agreed, most we counted was on the special train tour and at most dozen people. One of the ladies aboard for the ride was talking to LODE investors on the train and trying to convince us what a scam this was, how LODE would leave a awful pit behind, etc. etc. Some facts she was using were totally false(like she thought the Company was Canadian) and I can only assume the NIMBY crowd are running on mostly past examples like the outfit who worked the Overman Pit and the most agreejous(sic) examples spoiling the terrain were largely do to the WWII shutdown of mining. They only had at best 3-5 days to cease operations and an excellent example is the Crown Point Mill which was left with ore still in various tanks.

LODE is building a community outreach program and IF it's anything like the brilliant refinance/world class mining personel/etc. it will placate most of the worries by the locals. Silver City should be as much a tourist attraction(just smaller) as Virginia City and revenue from LODE will make it possible. This Company will not only be the Rebirth of the Comstock Lode for us investors but the whole district from Virginia City, thru Gold Hill & Silver City down into Dayton. Bob

I hope your right but are you sure they were honking in praise?
I just feel as though I was mislead in Vancouver about the numbers of opposition and that kind of get's my goat. The private land might be ok for now but the Dayton property where all these nice drill results are happening might be another fight with another group of people. I'm tempted to shift into some of my other investments where ignorant old hippies won't shoot themselves in the foot and inturn shoot me in the foot. Like I said I hope your right but I find this ignorance on the part of the locals very frustrating for me as an investor. I suppose that is there aim to kill jobs and kill any investment in Comstock and inturn investment in there town.

40 - 60 people here in this meeting as well as the dude from
History channel and some others who seam pretty serious and informed.
