IT would be a crying shame if you did that based on what I have seen. Storey County, most residentsand businesses are firmly behind the project, almost all of the protest comes from Silver City in Lyon County. They are permitted in Storey County, there is little at this point the locals can do to stop the starter pit. Yes we have some nice drill results in the Dayton but guess where the East side target and the 3.56oz bonanza strike is located? That's right Storey County again. I would hate to see you miss out on the gains down the road but it's your money and you will do as you wish. Yes I'm sure these people honking and waving were in support, it was obvious and someone else on the tour made note of it as well.

I disagree: IF you give a free bbq, they will come. Just look at the 2009 'Shareholder get together/bbq' held by Goldspring. It was free and I'm guessing 75 people minumum. Was a great event btw and very informative. This Meeting was about 40 people, nothing was gratius (food/drink/accomadations), and mostly serious investors with several? headgefund managers?/mutual fund managers? amongst them. More than likely most of the people you see in the picture are pro mining and just attending a community get together bbq. Storey County is 24000 people and pro mining. Given that the economy and tourist economy(life blood for VC) ain't coming back for atleast several years LODE is going to be vital for the local cities. Making a decision on a small group of people's oppostion to this mine(Starter Pit is on private land and likely 5-yr. life) isn't logical. Now stepping away(with a profit) at the $4.50pps/20 out of 30 days trigger I can see. Don Phillips asked about this and Corrado felt a crash in pps wouldn't occur. As serious as this guy is I'd put my money on him. Bob

I don't think you were lied to or mislead. My previous visit to the Lode someone at the mine office (can't name here or position but 'not' management) commented 'no thing' and really just 6 malcontents. This is from a local with no agenda. This ain't Venezuela with the 'late' Hugo Chavez nationlizing the mine but a business/mine friendly county that is smart enough to 'see' opportunity knocking. The residents in Silver City will see the light and there is years to comprehend. We go forward, back into production and become yet again a small producer of 'real money'. Bob

Was that the shareholders meeting pictures or the protest pictures? Here in Madison, WI we call that a picnic. I can show you some pictures that include bloodletting. If we can't shoo these little gnats we won't ever mine anything. Sometimes it takes more metal than whats in the ground.
