Hi Tab, personally I define the wealth I own as the "part of our economy that I own". And yes, owning a part of the economy means that you should be able to get a certain cash flow out of it. If you don't, then you can bet that somebody else is receiving the cash flow generated by "your" part of the economy. And that in itself is diminishing your share.
