Doc, I was thinking anout applications like the ones you came up with. Land mines could remain dormant for long stretches of time and, when you need them, you simply activate them. The same for torpedoes. They have been stationing torpedoes at the entrances of harbors etc, waiting for the signature of a craft they want to destroy. They could lie there for extended periods of time and be activated when there was a need. Mr Durundo said that they could be used to destroy classified hardware rather than having it captured by the enemy. I would like to see modular battery packs that are not unique for one specific application. Packs that would be compatible with a great many weapons systems so that the right pack would always be available when needed. Yes, the need for these batteries is there.
Not a bad day for an old PR. Maybe they should re-release all of the old PRs.
