How wonderfully simplistic and down right inaccurate. So many games you want to play to ordain your love of war. Che the pacifist? No more problems for the Jews in the world? The Koreans and the Japanese still can't agree on who owns what islands. School kids in Korean are taught to revile the Japanese. But you just want to skip over Stalin, and the all that killing, Mao and all that killing, Iraq and all that killing, Vietnam and all that killing, Dafar, Ruwanda, the Congo Algiers, because it just sounds so nice to pretend war is better.

Simple and one sided sounds about right, with the added caveat that it is a good thing someone else does the fighting for you.

AHHHHMMMMUUM... You mean the fact that we can be in Iraq for the next XX number of years as a police force, with increasing difficulties and increasing deaths of American troops. ??? You mean that we can enact a draft when new enlistments fall below a certain level, and or keep existing troops there indefinitely for 1, 2, or 3 regular rotations ??
You mean that we can continue to increase the reenlistment bonus and death benefits to our troops.
