* The US fast food industry is not permitted to use conventional household water heaters to sanitize their facilities and therefore necessitates the use of more costly commercial water heating systems (between three and four thousand dollars) for their equipment and facility sanitization procedures. In management's opinion, Wanderport's microwave tank-less water heater eliminates that huge cost factor.
* In addition, they have tabled various other proposals including an immediate order of between 450 and 650 commercial units to help sanitize facilities at some of America's largest fast food giants.
* Rural America represents 45% (a $3.6 billion annually) of the US marketplace. This agreement would ensure tremendous direct access to this market for the company.
Following recent introductions made by Mr. Ovens between Wanderport's Head of Technical Research and Product Development , Mr. Robert Simoneau, and one of Australia's largest water heater dealers presently distributing the Dux brand water heater Mr. Simoneau has indicated that the Dux distributor was thoroughly impressed and has agreed and requested to carry Wanderport's microwave energy tank-less water heater.
Last month, Wanderport said that it was in active negotiations to bring in Pulsar's microwave energy tankless water heater for the Australian fruit cleaning industry.
"We are extremely enthusiastic about Australia because it is a country that provides enormous growth opportunity for Wanderport," said Wanderport CEO Richard Martel.
The agreement is timed to take advantage of the federal focus on water heater performance efficiency, with the hot water strategy that began last July aiming to limit water and energy consumption.
"The water waste management industry in Australia is primed for Wanderport's water heater technology which we believe will dramatically change an industry heavily lacking in innovation," said Gavin Ovens, the CEO of Gavin Ovens Holdings.
