Infinite_q, I hope you are right....because in your scenario, they will not halt trading on the stock. The parties will get the ruling and debate the nuances and then come to an agreement. That will give some of us time to review the ruling and make our bets based on the strength of the ruling.
What I am looking for is a scenario where the ITC claims construction is overturned and the issue of infringement is determined by the CAFC...and it is remanded back to the ITC to execute the recommended remedy. If that is the ruling.....IDCC's fair value goes into triple digits. The less wiggle room the CAFC gives the ITC...the better it is for IDCC (and the higher the stock price goes).
