No actually if you keep up with Lebanon's daily newspapers , you will see that Harriri and his allies are still very much in charge of the caretaker government that is running the gov. during the period in which the guilty party and its allies resigned.

It might be startling to the writer of the article but not so startling to anyone who has followed this story closely since the assasination. Make no mistake , Harriri , holds Syria partially respsonsible for the murder of his father and believes they assisted Hizbullah. But it was also crystal clear to all that he made an attempt to ease tensions with the govt. of Syria during this volatile period. Note he says HE withdraws the accusation. But the fact is HE isnt the Tribunal and we dont know yet exactly what it will report and who all it will implicate in the assasination. The Lebanese people and Harriri himself deserve to know who assasinated the elder Harriri.
