...this issue might seem trite in the grand scheme of things. But to the extent that the company intends to use direct marketing (we used to call it mail order), as a primary revenue source, it deserves serious attention.

Really? Where did you come up with this?

"...to the extent that the company intends to use direct marketing (we used to call it mail order), as a primary revenue source..."

PROOF PLEASE

It appears that there is a GREAT DEAL of "jmo", "JMO", CONJECTURE,
or simply flat-out untruths subtly embedded in statement after
statement around here.

Me? I'd like MORE PROOF of the THINGS FOLKS CLAIM!!!

THANKS...

"There's a box for WEIGHT on the right side of the label copy that you provided that appears to show either "2 L 8 oz" or "218g"."

I read it as "218 g" (or 218 grams).

"...If the T-shirt and pack/sack came in a box (vs an envelope) with a packing list, it could not have weighed as little as 218grams (less than 1/2lb.)..."

It's possible. If the t-shirt was shipped in a medium sized "padded bag", both the bag and the t-shirt would weigh close to 218 grams. Of course whether that person received a t-shirt from "Brand 8000" is a different story...all we see is the P.O.D. and no t-shirt.

FYI it's unclear whether Joyful received something from "Brand 8000" in a cardboard box or a padded bag.

Ok, I am writing this very early in the am without coffee; so please excuse typos, poor grammar, etc.

The 2 items mentioned were not shipped in a box it was in a plastic express mail bag. The shipping label was all hand written; not pre printed infor mation. The only thing that was stamped was the circular date stamp.

The weight is recorded as 218g. I repackaged the items as I had received them and put them on my food scale (I have a really good flat topped food scale)......I know this may not fulfill your requirements but it weighed in at 216g.

The other items that you may not be able to make out that were written in are: date 1.6.11 time 11:00am weight 218g accepting clerk's initials: FB total postage and fees 45.00

On the left side of the label under international shippments only was checked "Merchandise"

My payment was all inclusive of product and shipping There was no tax.

I need coffee now :-)
