Just a couple questions, if you're willing:

Here's the Barbados Postal Service Rate schedule:
http://barbadospostal.com/calculate.php

About halfway down the page, under EXPRESS MAIL SERVICE (EMS) RATES - OVERSEAS it shows:
NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA
Up to 1kg......$45.00
Each add. 500g........$8.00

There's a box for WEIGHT on the right side of the label copy that you provided that appears to show either "2 L 8 oz" or "218g". There also appear to be 2 pre-printed units of measure in the box that are too small and light to read. Can you clear those things up for us?
FWIW, for the $45 charge to be correct the weight should be below 2lbs 2oz or 1000grams. If the T-shirt and pack/sack came in a box (vs an envelope) with a packing list, it could not have weighed as little as 218grams (less than 1/2lb.). Here in the US, postal scales are quite precise....who knows what goes on in Barbados. As we can see from the label, the post office has the responsibility for filling in the weight.

In reviewing the website (http://www.brand8000.com/), just starting the process for entering an order did not provide any information regarding shipping charges. Would you mind sharing whether you were assessed a separate shipping charge and, if so, how much it was?

I completely understand how this issue might seem trite in the grand scheme of things. But to the extent that the company intends to use direct marketing (we used to call it mail order), as a primary revenue source, it deserves serious attention. It is not unusual for a mail order company to have its entire net income be represented by the margin between the costs of packaging and delivery and what it collects from its customers for what is commonly called shipping and handling...it is a factor that is carefully managed.

ps. I assume that you weren't charged for sales tax?
