#205142 RE: patient investor #205141

There are those in this forum...

... Who would love nothing more than having Wave investors reaching out to the press with lectures about Trusted Computing.

Why? Because such communications often backfire... hardening the positions of the working press.

Haines' opinions don't matter. Seriously. They reflect the knee-jerk reaction which has already greeted NSTIC... and which, weirdly enough, came as a surprise to folks guiding NSTIC.

Haines' opinions aren't going to stop NSTIC, by the way. They aren't going to influence the success of the program. So... who cares?

People will either VOLUNTARILY participate in NSTIC... because they feel their interests are advanced by such participation. Or they won't. And the key to that public adoption has nothing to do with Haines. It has everything to do with the perceived "value" of participation.

The fact is, there are, maybe, 6 folks (long investors) who are perfectly suited to handle such a task, i.e. communicating key points to CNBC. If they take this up... and I doubt that most of them will... that MIGHT have, at most, a NEUTRAL effect. Haines isn't going to get educated... because he feels he knows all the answers.

Best Regards,
