We will come to know all facts about EIGH from SEC in a day or two.

Actually, there will be no breaking news about the investigation in a day or two. All that will happen is the stock will resume trading on the grey market. The SEC investigation is ongoing and unless the company is honest enough to tell you it has received a Well's Notice from the SEC (and I wouldn't count on that), investors will likely remain in the dark for a long time.

In the meantime, grey market trading in EIGH will be discovered to be a very illiquid mess.

No you won't. In a day or two it will resume trading but it will likely be months till you see a litigation release, which is the next information you will get.
By the time the release comes the stock will be illiquid and have lost a large part of its value.

NO ... you will see EIGH open on the Greys and languish a slow death there.
It will take some longer time for the SEC to finally present its case and/or charges.

No you won't.

What happens when the ten-day suspension period ends? Will the SEC issue a statement about the status of the company after the suspension has ended?

No. The SEC will not comment publicly on the status of a company when the ten-day suspension ends because the company may still have serious legal problems. For instance, the SEC may continue to investigate a company to determine whether it has defrauded investors. The public will not know if the SEC is continuing its investigation until the SEC publicly announces an enforcement action against the company.
