Meme, I'm sure there are examples both ways. I know someone that is very computer illerate, but was extremely paranoid about virus's getting into his newPC.

Wave did a few surveys years ago, that showed that 75% plus consumers would pay more for a secure PC (without really knowing what would make it more secure) I'm sure the PCoems have their plans for consumer, and they'll go when they're good and ready, despite my opinion. :)

I agree 100%!! It's a MISTAKE, imeshfo, for anyone to say that the "masses", "most consumers" feel the NEED to get a "MORE SECURE PC". They feel comfortable putting in their VISA account number at LANDSEND, AMAZON, and Paypal. It is all still "new" and "incredible" that we can order something in the middle of the night from our computer,,,and at a good price. Most of us have NOT had our identity stolen, and feel "SECURE" in ordering online with our credit cards.

Therefore, IT IS THE GOVERNMENT, HEALTHCARE, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS and MAJOR CORPORATIONS that NEED, WANT and have the CAPABILITY TO PAY for A SECURE, TRUSTED COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT to conduct business.

Someone earlier today mentioned the need to "LAND" a few more DELL type accounts......haha,,,impossible!!! There is only ONE DELL. Michael's company.

There have been some wonderful posts by Weby, Eammonchute, Helpfulbacteria, Rachelise, Barge, Countryboy and I'm still waiting for Buffetguys KliffNOtes version of AWK's Awesome DD post....and without those posters, I would not be invested right now.

It's all good...(cept for that damn share price!!),,and it IS what it is.....all of us want acceptance, revenues NOW.....we will just have to "STAY (in Jackson Brownes best voice)just a little bittttt longer...."
