Hey George, you should include me in that super bear club, I had the Dow low in this secular bear at 6000 since that old post in April 2000 (g). However, we have reached and exceeded my bear call on the Dow for this year (I had 7500 as the low), so I do not expect a revisit under 7200 this year. Maybe I am now a little more bullish (and with shiny horns on <vbg>).
The grizzly bears I respect -- people like Saville, Hussman, and Alan Newman -- talk about the bear troughing around Dow 5000-6000. ============================================================= Other than reading his book I have not paid much attention to Pretcher. His call was so extreme I had to ask some bear I respected. Thanks for the feed back. I'll put Pretcher back on ignore and stayed tuned to Saville, Hussman and Newman and watch the Bear grind on. -LOL- Do you expect this bear to end with low volatility and p/e values that are low compared to historical norms?
