#32822 RE: StockVoyager #32821

I guess it was not just moving the solution, but the cost of building or renovation of a space with the POS hardwired as a new restaurant was being created. A breakdown from csb about what he included in that $100K figure could be helpful.

Side by side cost of ownership will say it all and resolve all of these discussions (for the better I hope) - I believe LCRE has to do this anyways in order to sell this solution.

Yes, that will be the convincing data from the company, but they may not be ready yet to reveal the hard numbers, as they are still developing and testing the system in their pilot locations. That is where informal input from the test locations about their experience and cost estimates can be helpful at this stage.

All of us "LCRE longs" here who are hopeful that this will be a good investment down the road, if we get in at this rock-bottom sub-penny level, recognize that it remains a speculative gamble until more firm numbers and concrete business plans can be produced. It is risky, without a doubt! But the potential payoff is large if Lecere succeeds.

The first thing that needs to be recognized is that traditionally restaurants will remodel and or expand their location once about every 4 to 5 years. In Vegas the average is closer to 3 to 4 years. I can see an owner UPGRADING to the Lecere package to avoid the cost of re-wiring his old POS in favor of wireless technology along with the added benefits of the FIRMS software. I have sat in design meeting watching owners and designers struggle with locating the outdated POS counters. They take up much desired seating area, they are unattractive and they are expensive.

There is so much more to this than the average person can appreciate.

Dr. Morris, if you are reading this may I recommend you attend the Hospitality and Decorating Convention here in Vegas next April. Lecere will be a huge hit with all the Architects, Designers, Owners and owners reps.

re large chains
it appears a large amount of Due Diligence by large chains HAS NOT confirmed your analysis
............from the website

Our sales plan is still in development, but we will announce a major new development in sales before the end of the week. On another sales-related matter, I have been stating for months that we are in discussions with a large sales channel opportunity. We were hoping a decision would be made this summer, but it has been delayed for about six months. This is actually good news for Lecere. The large sales channel opportunity has taken a very close look at our competition, and they have been very thorough in their due diligence. The good news is that after looking at just about everything out there, both small and very large companies, no other company has been chosen instead of Lecere (some of you will deduce that this jibes closely with what I said in the third paragraph above). The six months delay will give us plenty of time to make a large number of customers successful and to complete our FIRMS product offering, including inventory control, labor scheduling, report generation, reservations, and other features.
