Any guesses how long it will take to sell the current fuel already produced once they have the permit? 1 day? 3 days? A week? Perhaps 30 minutes?

What does the air permit have to do with selling fuel already produced? You mean it just sits there and they can't sell it? What happens if there are more delays with the air permit? The fuel will just continue to sit there? Please explain...

Why is an air permit required to sell the fuel they've already generated?

That depends on who they try to sell to. As long as it has the lighter fraction in it, it has to go to a place that can do the separation. That means a refinery or a fuel blender, or someone who will be using it as a fuel for heating etc.

That narrows down the list of potential purchasers.

However, once they get their own separator on line selling the fuel will be a lot easier because the potential customer pool is way larger.

For example. There are a lot of non-road diesel fuel and gasoline users. That by passes the whole road tax collection thing as well as meeting road grade standards and testing requirements.

Selling their product is not going to be a problem.
