I have to agree with you 100% here! My biggest problem with SHORTERS is that they pick on a company not because it's technically weak, but because they feel that the share structure is weak.
This brings down company value, drive shareholders into "paper losses" and can cause all kinds of problems within the organization.
Personally, I'd like to see shorting made completely illegal. As longer holding investors we can't manipulate a stock price like SHORTERS do without getting in serious trouble, so why should they be able to do this?
