100 years ago they did not have the technology we do today. Also the PPS of gold is going ot make a huge differnce and we all know gold is not only high but expected go go alot higher in the years to come as a lot of countries currencies fail due to all of the overspending of money that does not exist. I myself would never keep my cash in CD's like I always used to, I also always had a huge gold position to balance out my portfolio, however today with what our polititians are doing to this country I am only holding gold and only keep enough cash in my accounts for what I need weekly. Anything extra all goes to gold investments, physical and stocks I own.

It was mined a long time ago by some very antique mining techniques. With the advances in mining technology, a lot more ore can be extracted today than in yesteryear.

The mine I work at is reprocessing waste rock from as little as 30 years ago to extract the ore that couldn't have been extracted even as recent as that. With today's technology, they can also extract ore from solution by electoplates using high amperage.

So with this being an established mine already, probably a lot has been missed. This is almost a guarantee there is gold ore there because it was an operating mine at one time. The big question, which the labs will tell, is how much. My guess is it could be significant.

In some old mines, especially gold, they are actually going through tailings from 100 to 150 years ago to extract ore in significant quantities. In those days, they took what they could see for the most part, in today's mill's, they extract almost all.

How much is there will show up in the assay results from the lab. That can take from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on how busy the labs are.

Many junior exploration companies stake claims on land with unknown deposits. Granted, "former mine" isn't a guarantee of anything, but it does mean at one time there was a 16g/t producing mine. Not a guarantee certainly, but it could mean there is still enough gold in that area to extract and make worth while.

True, did they extract all of the gold in that mine or was in abandoned?

Won't know until the study results come back.

GLTA!
