I don't think Stoecklein cared very much either way. I imagine that as he saw it, he was hired to do what his client, Urbie, wanted.

But he probably didn't expect all those calls from Xers. And I imagine he'd have just said "no" if he realized he'd end up being deposed along with the rest of them.
