While I appreciate your outlook and optimism and basically share it myself I would just point out that I don't think you are spot on by saying people are whining because wave doesn't get every deal. Wave has to date gotten 1 deal. 1. The picture you paint is of us having landed 50 deals and complaining about the one that got away and that is not exactly accurate in my opinion. My bet is that will change dramatically in the next couple years.

PS obviously i am not referring to bundling deals etc... but strictly corporate entities choosing and buying an encryption solution on a large scale.

Couple things;

Wave better annnounce news before April 6th. Otherwise they are going into this with 4 month old contract news. Not good. These people want to see stuff happening now.

Too many people here think Wave products are completely mature and should win every deal. Let's face it...Wave products are still rudimentary patchwork for a hardware security industry that hasn't soldered all the connections yet. Do you know the security industry and what is involved in it? It is not just about TPMs or SEDs. Wave has a long way to go, and they will lose deals, and they will win deals. Right now they are going to be losing more than they win. It is normal business evolution. Until this industry cleans up and figures out a direction, it is war in the streets. The big boys have an army. Wave is the five yr. old in the corner with a plastic sword.

The army is going to lie, cheat, steal, wine-n-dine and lap-dance their way to deals. They have massive distribution channels that have people behind them, not item numbers on a website. People need assurances, and 20-yr relationships provide that, not hardware online order-confirmations. Wave has a long way to go but they will get to where they get one day, and not a day sooner. That day hasn't even breached the horizon.

Summary? Relax...
