They are not being deceptive. They are using the mechanisms available to pinksheets stocks that are used everyday to fund and make a fortune for themselves.
Any company that does very limited revenue and have big debt would use those mechanisms in these tough times.
It is up to you to see throught the vague language. Here it is in a nutshell-- If the sale does not go through and the "buyer" backs out, they would have made millions on the pump and dump. All legal. No one forced all the buyers to buy.
And the best company that can effectively use the P&D is one that is a modest company, with a nice product and some revenue. They fly under the P&D radar for the most part as evidenced by your defending of them.
If they had a history of being deceptive, I'd agree with you. But they have never had that history. I might be wrong, but that means something to me. They've never operated that way.
