Lol, now that is funny. If you like huge deficits and a banking system in such a shambles that the Resolution Trust Co. had to be implemented just to assume recievership of the assets of failed banks, he's your guy. He was a pretty good actor and nice Christian man though. I did, none the less, respect his bullsh!t about our SDS capabilities and his one liner, quick wit.

Ronald Reagan was a puppet. Do you really think he had any original ideas? He was a figurehead. He was a mediocre actor and that is why he was popular. It is all an act. Big business runs the show and these presidential marionettes have little influence. Of course we mustn't discount the real power of the man in the background during those years either since he probably orchestrated most of what transpired. And now his son is in control. Remember what agency big Shrubbery ran? We have a quite thorny hedgerow!
