Great, but as we all know... no matter how much buying pressure from the commons we can always get shut down by the man(We know who he is). With the EC and everything we are still smaller than pawns in this game. If the MMs want a lower PPS I believe we will see it. I actually love you... seriously, but I disagree with the PPS flying tomorrow + I disagree with Lehman coming out successful... WAMU will, but Lehman won't. I'm about 75% sure of the fact that Lehman will fail.(Although the PPS of lehman is directly corresponding with WAMU's)
Also about your last number there. IMO commons can fly to the sky if possible, but still I believe as though commons will see a smaller payout than the preferreds will; if not the same. IMO I see a 10x change for commons(Or smaller since such a big OS) and 12x change for preferreds. ALSO something to notice is that the EC has scheduled dates for appointing people/doing things in April. I doubt the EC can do its magic now when it needs to do some prerequisites in April.
Is it possible to find out who bought at the bottom yesterday? And wouldn't the SEC want to know who that was?
How is it possible that someone knows when to buy over 8mil shares exact at the bottom? Doesn't that tell us that someone knows what is going to happen on Friday?
Nice post Fish~ What you failed to mention is that not one thing has changed here since last Thursday's hearing. Last Thurday our opening price was .26 we closed at .33.
However, today, we sit at .42... The only thing that change here is that our PPS is higher. 2 days before the last hearing the pps was .28. NOW, two days before the biggest hearing ever we sit at a measly .42. I'm not complainin' :)
If WAMU flies tomorrow, and it easily could, I am going to seek you out and give you the biggest handshake and hug and afterward we will be headed too the nearest pub to contemplate our fates.
Starke's actual quote was "It's a cheap lottery ticket if there somehow miraculously is a payoff to the common shareholders." So he's essentially saying it would take a miracle for the commons to see any money. Obviously I don't agree with him, just saying he meant it as a disparaging remark about WAMU common stock.
