The point of his post was that Bud Burrell's commentary was tendentious and meretricious. Of course, that doesn't come as a surprise.

So I did, and found inaccuracies between AG Holder's speech and Bud's article.

There is a big difference between "pending indictments" and "pending cases".

Bud also claims Holder's speech was not specific in the types of financial crimes. Holder not only laid them out in his speech, he repeated them in his testimony Thursday before the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission.

jimmy, your research was more accurate than Bud's. Tell me, how long did it take you to find Holder's statements from his speech?

5,000 pending financial institution fraud cases and the FBI was investigating more than 2,800 mortgage fraud cases
