The house and the boats are a non-issue in my opinion if he paid the company back. The house is for sale which he told us last night, maybe he got in over his head and simply can't afford it now on $50K/year. If that's the case then he's doing us a favor selling it instead of increasing his salary.
We simply have different opinions on the relationship issue. It might become "scandalous" and it might not. The point is moot. I could say something about Ken Cook I found out yesterday but I won't. Suffice it to say, employees get fired all the time. Arch is 65 and was ready to retire.
I have a lot at stake in this company not only with my own funds but with many others as well. I will be the first to join you guys in arguing for a new CEO when I see the proof that Rich is incapable, underperforming, or mismanaging his relationship with his employees.
Have you read the "View from the deck" and the COO statement? These people are happy to be employees of SEVU and that's the feeling I got from everyone of them yesterday.
