For $20.00 PC Mover worked for me. It took a while and was a bit convoluted but I didn't lose anything. I went from XP32 to Win7 32. Didn't try the 64.
Those are for going from XP32 to W7 64. Mine is Vista 32 and would be going to W7 64.
I may just use the 32 bit disk to avoid hassles. I will call their support and ask about going from 32 to 64 before I try it and see what they say.
I know that going from Vista 32 to W7 32 is just a simple upgrade. If you are running Vista the upgrade is much simpler than if you are running XP, at least that is what I have read everywhere. I'm not sure if the advantages of going to 64 would be worth it. If having 64 bit would improve my machine a great deal I would take the time to figure out exactly how to do it. In your opinion is it a lot better to have a 64 bit OS???
