as far as this dilemma: "What else is a Yankee fan going to do when his team got eliminated"
is concerned, now that the yankees are out, you could always cheer for the sox for one simple reason.. let the seniors who have been diehard fans with no reward, for many many decades, have their victory. They deserve some reward for their loyalty.
Yankee fans will, in all likelyhood, enjoy many more championships in the future. No doubt GS will bring in better pitching.. losing Clemens and Petite was too much to recover from in one season, IMO
