Visit the links I posted the other day. I believe it shows that HD is acting out of spite & not in the shareholders best interests.
Buell was really starting to gain momentum. A little further digging will reveal that they had another new model nearly ready for market that was very likely going to be a HUGE seller, plus they just won their first AMA Championship. There was (and still is) a lot of money being flushed down the toilet while HD divests Buell. They are trying very hard to make it as though Buell never existed.
For HD to shut them down in their prime doesn't make good financial cent$. Also - Buell had positive revenues. The same can't be said for HD. At least HD could have offered Buell up for sale instead of just tossing it all in the trash.
