Go read the entire (not really all that long) INOV board at RB. You'll learn, sort of, how it works.

Gump: Fyi, the whole point of going public is to sell shares. These companies secretly dump billions upon billions upon unsuspecting shareholders while releasing rosey PR's all the time. I can name 25 off the top of my head right now. You want an example? Inov; 22 billion dumped, R/S, another 19 billion dumped, R/S, and other 13 billion currently dumped. 23 million dollars went to "unnamed consultants" performing "undisclosed services" in 2003 alone. Pretty good for a company with no employees, no sales, 2 dollars in the bank, and run out of a little office rented month to month. Just imagine what cmkx has brought in, and who got it.

Now that is a joke, Zak.

Gump:

Well, I suppose it's not a bad idea to enjoy humour where you find it.

Unfortunately, at least in my opinion, a great deal of the humour that can be found in abundance around this play and associated companies has a Janus-like quality insofar as the flip-side is almost tragic.

Good grief; a trillion dollar or better valuation for a pink sheet promotion with acres of moose pasture, the highest outstanding share count on the planet, tied up with a former purveyor of soy-based powdered infant formula...

It just goes on and on and on...

All of it backstopped by an absolutely astounding number of starry-eyed naifs who may well think that the caricature on the CMKX funny car is really what diamond mining is all about...

Many of whom are waiting for the big price pop to a penny--nay, even a tenth of a penny--so that they can make the pilgrimage to Las Vegas...

I acknowledge that I find humour in the promotion and even in the great ignorance of some of its cult-like followers, but I also find much of it very, very sad.
