You always said 1 to 1 1/2 years for the NEOM PPS to really make a move. I agree with you and so do most of the bloggers, analysts, NEOM management--they've all talked about the 3rd quarter of 2010.

I believe the BIG move will come next year. I think the small move (the one we're in NOW) will carry us from .02 to .25; the medium move (starting in the Spring, 2010) from .25 to 1.00 and finally, with listing on the NASDAQ, the BIG MOVE, from 1.00 to $25.00. The next 12 months will be wildly exciting!

Howard

PS: I haven't told anyone about NEOM since the pps was at .30, years ago. I swore to my wife that I would not mention it, and I haven't, but this morning I asked her if I could withdraw my promise. She said YES and I immediately called my two daughters and told them that I thought this might be their last chance to buy NEOM at such a low price.
(My son already owns a bunch of NEOM from 3 or 4 years ago.)

Good luck to us all,

Howard

PS: My marriage isn't in any danger---we're married since June, 1961. (She's the most patient women in the world.)

But what you said was you thought that Neomedia would have to "hand over some of their toys." Scanbuy is the only entity in the settlement that had to hand over anything. Sure, you can call it a cross-licensing deal but that's not really what it is. Scanbuy is paying Neomedia to use the Neom IP, and they were forced to give Neomedia free license to use the Scanbuy IP. This is a win for Neomedia and a loss for Scanbuy, and a larger uphill battle for other companies in the space who want to traverse '048 without licensing. Is it good for all players in the industry though - of course. Now everyone moves forward with a clear path.

You said: "I am also not getting any answers in the marketplace on how this deal is going to function. I guess it is still too soon. Are they using the NeoMedia/Neustar alliance?"

Per Iain McCready Scanbuy is paying Neomedia directly to license, Neustar is not involved.

We know what was cross-licensed and we do know that ScanBuy is the one paying NeoMedia. ScanBuy can decide how they will stay afloat as a company. Now ScanBuy can go forth and prosper. If they want to go their own proprietary way that is their choice.

PR is the one that licensed and that is the '048 patent.

Who did you contact in the MARKETPLACE?

Better yet, what is Pop-Technology going to do? Is it going to use the Neustar-NeoMedia alliance. Being one of the first to do so would and the PR that would come from it would be a great way to bring attention to your track and trace barcode technology.
